EdenFields Golf Club was established on 9th December 2015 and became the first affiliated club under the then newly formed Scottish Golf Limited. Our home course is here at Elmwood.
As an affiliated club, we organise a variety of competitions for our members and these include mixed field play over 9, 12, 15 and 18 holes throughout the year. Our main competition days are Tuesday and Thursday but ever mindful that not everyone is able to play golf midweek, an alternative days play is also arranged on Saturday so that as many members as possible are provided with an opportunity to play and enjoy their golf.
A range of counting, non- counting and social competitions are on our fixture list. Competition formats are played from white, yellow and red tees.
Members are not required to hold competition handicaps (under the world handicap system), if they do not wish to do so but those who wish to gain a competition handicap are given every encouragement to do so when they join our club.
Membership of the club is mixed, ladies, gents and juniors and all competition fields are mixed unless the format of the competition requires otherwise. EdenFields Golf Club is pleased to promote mixed field golf for all ages.
We have a club policy that allows members to use buggies in all competitions unless the regional or national entry requirement prohibits their use.
Our club enters members for a number of regional and national qualifying competitions in single, pairs or team formats.
We welcome new members who wish to move to a new club and also those who wish to take up the game of golf be it for social or competition golf.
