The Phoenix Group

Thanks to the support provided by the Management and Staff at Elmwood Golf Club since it first opened, we have been able to generate and expand upon the number of games, competitions and tuition we offer to our disabled golfing members.

We have based many of our general games, meetings, tuition and practice sessions and even two international team events at Elmwood.  We have also used the club as a base to introduce new members and players to the game, due to the clubs informal and friendly approach to the game.

We’ve recently underwent an exciting transformation!  All our smaller organizations, games, and administrative groups have come together under the fully inclusive Phoenix Cup Group (PCG) banner. Previously, these groups were known as SDG&C, SDGP, DCS, DICE & VISGA and by merging them into PCG, we’ve made things much easier to manage, especially since our Committee and Management teams are led by dedicated volunteers with disabilities, ensuring that everyone has a better chance to participate and enjoy playing!
