Lightly spiced red lentil, parsnip & carrot soup finished with cream (v/gf)

 

Smoked haddock pakora, fresh mango & sweet chilli chutney

 

Chilled galia melon with soft fruits & berries, honey & yogurt dressing (v/gf)

 

Local haggis bonbons rolled in panko breadcrumbs, garlic & parsley mayonnaise

 

Quenelle of Chicken liver parfait, house chutney, cracked black pepper oatcakes, orange, port & redcurrant glaze

 

Main Dishes

 

Traditional roasted Letham turkey with chipolata bacon wraps, herb & onion stuffing, roast pan gravy and cranberry relish

 

Roast pork tenderloin, caramelised apple, Fife black pudding, creamy cider & grain mustard sauce

 

Seared fillet of Scottish salmon, braised bok choy, Thai chilli jam, crispy fried red onion

 

Breast of Chicken pan roasted with herb butter, served with dauphinoise mash, steak mushroom, green peppercorn & Madeira sauce

 

Crispy fried risotto balls with manchego cheese, roasted garlic & tomato basil butter, rocket salad (v)

 

All served with rosemary roast potatoes & buttered winter vegetables

 

Puddings

 

Christmas pudding topped with a warm boozy Calvados brandy sauce

 

Edinburgh Fog; Drambuie whipped cream with vanilla, marshmallow, almond biscuit & red berry sauce

 

Sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch & banana ice cream

3 Courses with coffee & mince pies £19.75 or a 2 course option at £16.55

 

Most of our dishes can be adapted gluten free. Please check with your server & make them aware of any special dietary requirements. Although most of our dishes are prepared in house, we cannot guarantee that they are free from traces of nuts etc.
